Hello…I’m back again
Last month, I got an email rejection from a company that I applied for a job. I applied UX Writer position. It was my first experience and not sad. Hehe. I felt so excited to more and more learning for apply a job. Because my technical skills are less than I expected. So, I decide to learn again about UX Writer.
I joined a workshop called Level Up: Becoming UX Writer by Vokraf on November 2021. I got insightful knowledges about introduction of UX Writer, The who, what, how and why of the UX Writer’s role, career path and opportunities in UX writing field, and then basic skills and tools we shall know, last but not least of course got connection.
What is UX Writing?
What is the different of UX Writing and Copywriting?
UX Writing is the copy for apps, websites and other digital products. UX Writing is not the same as Copywriting. It is because UX Writing guides users within a product and helps them interact with it not draws attention, informs and leads to a desired action/emotion like Copywriting. UX Writing has user goals not sales goals like Copywriting. UX Writing uses simple words to explain not to entice like Copywriting.
